Emory Healthcare Rehabilitation Medicine
Rehabilitation care is an ongoing process for most patients needing it. Often times continuing long after an injury, illness, or surgery has occurred. The Center for Rehabilitation Medicine provides rehabilitation services to patients such as those who have undergone a stroke or spinal cord injury, or individuals with neural damage, musculoskeletal problems, pain, amputations and chronic disease.
Emory's Center for Rehabilitation Medicine brings together occupational therapists, physicians, neuropsychologists, speech pathologists, physical therapists and recreation therapists, along with the backing of a team of researchers to provide the most comprehensive rehabilitation team possible for our patients. Together these nerve, muscle, and bone experts share a collective vision of innovative patient-centered care that is integrated with cutting-edge research and preeminent educational programs in the field of rehabilitative medicine.
