This video is an interview with Jerrold H. Levy, MD, FAHA, author of the editorial. The editorial accompanies a report on a randomized clinical trial evaluating the use of the antifibrinolytic agent tranexamic acid in more than 20,000 trauma patients from 42 countries. Levy is professor of anesthesiology at Emory University School of Medicine and co-director of cardiothoracic anesthesiology.
