- Barbara Rothbaum, PhD, professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
- Dr. Rothbaum specializes in research on the treatment of anxiety disorders, particularly PTSD. As Director of the Emory Healthcare Veterans Program, Dr. Rothbaum has developed, tested, and disseminated some of the most innovative and effective treatments available for PTSD.
- Nadine Kaslow, PhD, professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
- Dr. Kaslow is a clinical psychologist and expert in suicide, depression and intimate partner violence. Her research focuses on risk and resilience in underserved populations. She serves as chief psychologist at Grady Health System where she directs both the Nia Project and the Atlanta Trauma Alliance.
- Justine Welsh, MD, associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
- Dr. Welsh is an addiction psychiatrist that specializes in treating substance use disorders in children and adults. She is the founding director of Emory Healthcare Addiction Services and founding medical director of the Addiction Alliance of Georgia, a partnership with the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation.
