  • Anant Madabhushi, faculty member in the Department of Biomedical Engineer
    • Dr. Madabhushi serves as the executive director of the Emory Empathetic AI for Health Institute, a leading center dedicated to innovating, deploying, and scaling up accessible, cost-effective, and equitable AI tools into healthcare solutions for patients. His research focuses on cancer immunology, medical imaging, and personalized diagnostics.
  • Judy Gichoya, associate professor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Services
    • Dr. Gichoya is trained as both an informatician and an interventional radiologist, with work centered around using data science to study health equity. Her research focuses on building diverse dataset for machine learning, evaluating AI for bias, and validating AI in real-world settings. ·

    • Dr. Nasiri is a health researcher focusing on machine learning and how it applies to neuroscience. She works to identify indicators of brain health through the use of AI to discover interventions that can prevent brain disease.
