Biography

Cameron Taylor leads the university's government affairs efforts at the local, state, and federal levels. Taylor came to Emory in 2003 as the University's first Washington Representative. Prior to that, Taylor spent a decade on Capitol Hill, working on both the House and Senate sides and in both personal and committee offices.

Taylor is heavily involved in the national higher education and health care trade associations. She has served on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU), on the Government Relations Representatives' (GRR) Steering Committee for the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), and on the GRR Steering Committee for the Association of American Universities (AAU).

Taylor has an MS in resource policy and administration from the University of Michigan and a BA in sociology and ecology from Emory.
