What kind of animals are involved?

The animal is matched to the research question. More than 97 percent of all animals involved in research at Emory are rodents. However, these are not good subjects for some types of research. A smaller percentage of animals involved in research at Emory are invertebrates such as flies or worms. And a very small percentage are dogs, cats, and monkeys.
