Biography

Bradley Haws, MBA, joins Emory Healthcare on August 17th, 2021 and serves as the Chief Financial Officer. Brad has more than 30 years in health care leadership. He joined EHC from the University of Iowa Health where he was Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he had oversight over all financial operations for the system (UI Hospitals & Clinics and UI Physicians) including revenue cycle finance, accounting, debt structure management, investment strategy, third-party contracting, risk management and strategy development. He also served as a key member of the executive leadership team and maintains responsibility for coordination and collaboration with UI Finance and Operations; the Board of Regents, State of Iowa; and other key constituencies.

Prior to joining UI Health Care in August 2018, he was the chief executive officer of the University of Virginia Physicians and also served as an advisor to the dean of the medical school. Before joining the University of Virginia, Haws spent 14 years with Intermountain Healthcare, Inc. (IHC) in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the founding CFO of the Intermountain Medical Group and held that role for roughly 10 years. Prior to his role with the physician group, he spent four years in the IHC corporate office as part of the financial and strategic planning group.
