In December 2008, CNN launched a new health website. CNNhealth.com, which features a section called "Expert Q&A with Dr. Sanjay Gupta and Team." One of the four members on Gupta's medical advisory team is an Emory doctors. Gupta himself is an Emory neurosurgeon practicing at Grady Memorial Hospital.

This interactive site was developed in response to the numerous health-related questions that CNN receives daily. Gupta carefully chose knowledgeable experts who can respond on a weekly basis to questions geared to their areas of expertise. The Q&A's will be archived and easily accessible on the site.

Dr. Otis Brawley

Dr. Otis Brawley

Otis Brawley, MD, was discovered by CNN shortly after his arrival at Emory, and has been a popular guest on the network ever since. CNN says that Brawley exudes warmth and articulates his responses to medical questions as though he is talking directly with a patient. As a member of Sanjay's team, he will tackle general medical questions as well as questions related to cancer. Brawley is professor of hematology, oncology and medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and Emory Winship Cancer Institute. He currently serves as the chief medical officer of the American Cancer Society.
