State of WHSC 2018: No stopping us now!

Thanks to all who attended the 2018 State of the Woodruff Health Sciences Center event--whether in person or by live webcast. It's always wonderful to see such an excellent turnout. Your participation is a tangible demonstration of the engagement and commitment of WHSC's people, and I always appreciate the opportunity to spend time with you. If you couldn't join last week, I hope you'll check out the video of the event when your schedule permits.

You'll see that 2018 was truly a stellar year for WHSC in terms of growth, accomplishment, and fulfillment of our missions. We made more progress toward our strategic goals and a greater positive impact on the communities we serve than I could ever have hoped.

At the end of the day, all that we've accomplished in 2018 and all that we will accomplish in 2019 are thanks to each of you and to the enormous power you bring to the Emory brand. Your excellence, passion, and kindness have built a brand so strong it acts as a magnet to the very finest faculty, staff, and students; to patients in need and their families; to our world-class partners and affiliates; and to the donors, lawmakers, and other stakeholders who make up our community.

We've come as far as we have because we have an extraordinary team of people who are committed to collaborate, innovate, and serve. I'm grateful to every one of you for the indispensable role you play in our success. Thanks to you, in 2019 and beyond, there's truly no stopping us now!
