Emory School of Nursing Hosts Fifth Annual "Oh Nellie" 5K Trail Run/Walk
WHAT: "Oh Nellie" 5K Trail Run/Walk benefiting Emory University's Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing Partners in Caring fund. Atlanta CBS 46 sports anchor Gil Tyree will emcee the fifth annual event, which raises money for nursing scholarships, service learning and research. Marathon runner Gayle Barron, five-time Peachtree Road Race winner and spokeswoman for Waffle House's healthy menu choices, will be the special guest.

The first 200 registrants will be entered to win a $90 gift certificate from Outback Steakhouse - Toco Hills. All participants will receive an official long-sleeve T-shirt and are eligible for door prizes.

WHEN: Saturday, April 28

TIME: 7:30 a.m. warm-up by LA Fitness; Race starts at 8 a.m.

WHERE: Lullwater Park, Emory University, 1463 Clifton Road NE, Atlanta

COST: Register online at www.active.com (search for "Oh Nellie"). Registration is $20; $25 after April 19. Those who can't attend the event but want to support nursing at Emory can register as phantom runners for $25.
