WHAT:
Yerkes National Primate Research Center and Emory Vaccine Center host "Bridging Immunology, Neuroscience and Imaging: New Strategies for Developing Vaccines for Infectious and Noninfectious Diseases"
This conference brings together vaccine researchers, neuroscientists and imaging technology scientists and well as students, and serves as the catalyst for cutting-edge thought-leadership and research intended to develop baseline strategies by which the development of vaccines for both infectious and noninfectious diseases can be linked to assessments of cognitive functions and to imaging technologies. The conference holds the promise of facilitating collaborations to develop biological markers to track the course and effectiveness of vaccines throughout the body.
Topics include Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, imaging, oncology and prion diseases.
