Emory Healthcare Shines Spotlight on Men's Health
Emory Healthcare physicians will highlight the latest advances in prostate cancer treatment, erectile dysfunction, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and kidney stones during an upcoming Men's Health Seminar Series.

Metro Atlanta men and others in the community are encouraged to participate in the four-week series sponsored by the Emory Prostate Center and Department of Urology. Seminar dates and topics include:
*Feb. 20: Prostate cancer treatment options
*March 6: Life after prostate cancer, dealing with urological symptoms and erectile dysfunction *March 22: Treatment for BPH
*April 10: Avoiding kidney stones and treating them when pain arises

In addition to physician panel discussions, the Feb. 20 and March 6 seminars will feature guest speakers and prostate cancer survivors John Hickox and Ray Malone respectively.

All seminars will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Emory University Hospital Auditorium located on the second floor of the hospital. Light refreshments will be served.

"Most men will be affected by a urological condition in their lifetime, whether it's prostate cancer, a bladder disorder or kidney problems," says Fray Marshall, MD, professor and chairman of the Department of Urology. "The Men's Health Seminar Series shines the spotlight on these health issues and equips men with information to help them make informed decisions about their healthcare and treatment options."
