Emory Reproductive Center to Celebrate Opening of New Location
The Emory Reproductive Center will celebrate the opening of their relocated site with an open house on February 15, 2005 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. The new 13,000 square foot space is now located on the 18th floor of the Emory Crawford Long Medical Office tower at 550 Peachtree St. Persons interested in attending the open house should call 404-778-7777 to RSVP and get directions.

The facility boasts an open floor plan with a spacious waiting room, two ultrasound rooms, an andrology and embryology lab, a procedure and recovery room and four private consult rooms. The state of the art facility will also offer on-site high resolution ultrasounds for gynecological and infertility conditions, as well as preimplantation genetic diagnosis.

Emory's physicians and laboratory team in the Emory Reproductive Center are widely recognized as leaders and innovators of in vitro-fertilization (IVF) therapies. Since its opening in August, the ongoing pregnancy rate has exceeded 50%, according to Sarah L. Berga, MD, Chair and Professor, Department of Gynecology & Obstetrics, Emory University School of Medicine.

The Emory Reproductive Center also offers a free monthly informational seminar about fertility and IVF on the first Saturday of each month. Physicians, nurses and financial counselors are on hand to help answer questions and guide participants through the IVF experience. The seminars are held at the Emory Crawford Long Medical Office Tower, 5th Floor, Classroom 2.

Pre-registration is required for the free seminars by calling 404-778-7777.
