Emory Experts Gather to Discuss Link Between Lifestyle and Alzheimer's Disease
A group of Emory University experts will gather for a public event on Saturday, April 19 to discuss current research linking Alzheimer's disease risk to lifestyle choices.

Presenters at the seminar, "Healthy Living Prevents Alzheimer's Diseaseā€¦ Or Does It?" will cover topics including dietary factors, cardiovascular health, social support and cognitive stimulation. Members of the public are invited to attend and participate in a Q&A session with panelists.

The seminar is sponsored by the Emory University Alzheimer's Disease Research Center and the Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter. The Atlanta Chapter of the National Black Nurses Association will be offering free blood pressure checks.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Saint Philip African Methodist Episcopal Church Fellow Hall located at 240 Candler Rd., Atlanta, GA 30317. Event and parking are free.
