Emory hospitals take top spots in recent rankings

Wright Caughman   john-fox

When we say Emory hospitals are the best of the best, we really mean it. And now our confidence in our health care facilities has been affirmed by U.S. News & World Report, which ranked Emory University Hospital first and Emory University Hospital Midtown fourth among all metro Atlanta hospitals.

This is the first time that U.S. News & World Report has issued hospital rankings for 52 major metropolitan areas. The new rankings recognize those hospitals in or near major cities which—like ours—have an outstanding record of high performance in key medical specialties. (Click here for more information about Emory’s U.S. News & World Report rankings.)

For Emory to have two facilities in the top four represents a remarkable achievement and the work of an extraordinary group of people. To consistently provide the kind of high-quality, cutting-edge, patient- and family-centered care recognized by these rankings takes the passion and commitment of every member of our team. Thank you for all that you do to make our hospitals great, and congratulations on this well deserved recognition.

Wright and John
