Setting a course for the future

It's hard to believe I've only been at Emory for seven months. In that short time, I've already seen our teams make outstanding progress—most recently toward developing and implementing a clear strategy for the future of our clinical network. Earlier this month we achieved the first progress toward that strategy when we entered an alliance with Stratus Healthcare, an affiliation which will provide even more Georgians with access to Emory's superb patient care.

I'm grateful to the team of leaders from across the health sciences who have worked diligently over the past few months to develop a roadmap for our health system's future. They will continue developing strategies to enhance our local, regional, national, and international presence and to save and improve more lives than ever before.

I look forward to sharing additional plans and progress with you as we continue to move our health enterprise forward.
