You are invited to a book-signing with Sanjay Gupta

You are invited to attend a book-signing to honor Emory neurosurgeon and CNN medical journalist Sanjay Gupta. Gupta’s new book, Cheating Death: The Miracles That Are Saving Lives Against All Odds, was published this fall. The event takes place on Wed., Nov. 18, 6-8 p.m., in the WHSCAB Auditorium, 1440 Clifton Road.

Books will be available for purchase at 6 p.m. A program at 6:30 will include a short presentation by Gupta and some clips from his documentary, Another Day: Cheating Death. Following the program, Gupta will be available to sign books.

According to the publisher, Cheating Death is a "fascinating exploration of the very thin line between life and death . . . and chronicles the almost unbelievable science that has made these seemingly miraculous recoveries possible, as well as the efforts of a bold new breed of doctors who refuse to accept that any life is irretrievably lost." Read excerpt.

Free parking is available at the Emory Michael Street Deck, 550 Michael Street. Reservations are not required.
