Woodruff Health Sciences Center

Named for the legendary leader of the Coca-Cola Company, Emory University's Robert W. Woodruff Health Sciences Center (WHSC) is an academic health science and service center focused on missions of teaching, research, health care, and public service.

Its components include schools of medicine, nursing, and public health; Yerkes National Primate Research Center; Emory Winship Cancer Institute; and Emory Healthcare, the largest, most comprehensive health system in Georgia.

Many WHSC facilities are located on Emory's main campus, 5 miles east of downtown Atlanta. Emory’s Clairmont campus, 1 mile east of the main campus, is the site of residential facilities for patients' families.

In addition to the WHSC, Emory University includes Emory College, Oxford College, a graduate school, and professional schools of business, law, and theology.
