Emory Healthcare Opens Emory at Eagles Landing in Henry County

Emory Healthcare announces the opening of Emory at Eagles Landing to better serve the primary care needs of Henry County residents. F. Kennard Hood, MD, Emory School of Medicine graduate and an Emory resident-trained physician, has joined the Emory team to provide family practice services.

Emory at Eagles Landing, located at 830 Eagles Landing Pkwy in Stockbridge, allows for greater convenience and access to Emory Healthcare's Family Medicine team - with health care for both adults and children. Dr. Hood will hold weekday and Saturday hours and provide expertise in a broad range of areas including adolescent medicine, asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, sports injuries, stress testing and women's health, to name a few. In addition, Dr. Hood will provide echocardiography and ultrasonography services.

Recently, Emory at Eagles Landing sponsored a team for the 2009 Pacemaker 5000, a fundraising event supporting Cardiovascular Services at Henry Medical Center.
