Emory-Georgia Heart Care Forms to Serve Cumming and Forsyth County Area Residents

Emory Healthcare announces the merging of Georgia-Heart Care into Emory Specialty Associates, a wholly owned subsidiary of Emory Healthcare. With this merger, Emory-Georgia Heart Care will expand its services, bring additional cardiovascular specialists to Cumming and provide even better care to the residents of Forsyth County.

Leading cardiology services for Emory-Georgia Heart Care is Yitzhak Hermoni, MD, FACC. Dr. Hermoni is a graduate of the Hebrew University - Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem, Israel. He trained in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He completed his cardiovascular training at the University of Cincinnati and remained on the faculty there for five years. He has practiced cardiology in Cumming since 1991.

Dr. Hermoni founded Georgia Heart Care in 1997 and has now merged this highly reputable cardiology practice with Emory. He is Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Hermoni is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a member of the Heart Rhythm Society and the American Society of Echocardiography.
