Holly W. Korschun is Interim Associate VP of Communications for Emory's Woodruff Health Sciences Center and is responsible for media relations, issues management, research communications, publications, web development, special events, and internal communications within health sciences. She is also Executive Director of Media Relations and Research Communications in health sciences. In this position she is responsible for directing media relations and internal and external communications for clinical and research programs within the Office of Health Sciences Communications.
During a career in communications at Emory that began in 1980, Korschun has served as associate director of university publications, writer/editor for the Winship Cancer Institute and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and writer/editor for the schools of medicine, public health, and nursing.
Prior to her work at Emory, Korschun was editor of publications at Tufts University. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Journalism. She is a member of the National Association of Science Writers and is a 2004 fellow of the Woodruff Leadership Academy in Emory's Woodruff Health Sciences Center.
