Emory University Hospital Midtown's 100th Anniversary

Established in 1908, Emory University Hospital Midtown (formerly Emory Crawford Long Hospital) began as a 26-bed hospital near present-day Turner Field. Today - 100 years later - the hospital is a 511-bed community-based, acute care teaching facility, admitting nearly 23,000 patients in 2007 and employing more than 2,700 staff.
