Kay Torrance is the editor of Emory Nursing magazine and dean's newsletters in the schools of Medicine and Nursing. She has more than a decade of editorial experience. Before coming to Emory, she edited biotechnology source books for a medical publisher, managed public relations for four peace programs of the Carter Center, and was a reporter with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She earned her bachelor's degree in journalism at Georgia State University and a master's of science in publishing at New York University.
