Gregory H. Jones is the associate vice president for health affairs in the Robert
W. Woodruff Health Sciences Center. In this role, Dr. Jones manages strategic human resources initiatives as a member on the leadership team of the Health Sciences Center at Emory. Prior to his current position, he served as director of human resources for Emory University. Dr. Jones has been at Emory since 1992. Prior to coming to Emory, he was executive director of human resources with Boston University Medical Center and director of academic affairs and dean of the Business School with The American University in London.
He received his doctor of education degree in human resources management from Boston University. His academic background includes pre-doctoral studies in organizational development at the University of London as well as a master of business administration degree and a master of science degree in clinical psychology from Valdosta State University. Dr. Jones earned a bachelor of arts degree from LaGrange College.
Dr. Jones is a Certified Compensation Professional with the American Compensation Association and serves on the Board of Directors of the Emory Federal Credit Union.
