Charlie Andrews is Senior Associate Vice President for Health Sciences Center Space Planning and Construction, where he oversees the programming, design and application of space planning and construction for the health sciences center. He is responsible for the successful additions of over 1.2M square feet of clinical, research, teaching and administrative space.

In 2005 he was appointed as the lead executive in charge of the healthcare facility redevelopment plan, the largest project ever undertaken by the Woodruff Health Sciences Center.  In this role, Mr. Andrews leads the overall planning and implementation of the Clifton + Midtown Redevelopment Project.

Prior to his current responsibility for space planning and construction, which he has overseen for the past 10 years, he served as administrative director of the office of graduate medical education. Mr. Andrews has been with Emory since 1983, and was with the Department of Medical Assistance; State of Georgia prior to coming to Emory.

He received his undergraduate degree and his master of public administration degree from The Pennsylvania State University.
