Emory University Researchers Study Earliest Signs of Huntington's Disease

Researchers at Emory University are seeking participants who are at risk for Huntington’s disease to take part in two research studies to investigate the earliest symptoms of the disease. Participants must be at least 26 years old and have or have had a parent with Huntington’s disease. Participants who have a parent with the disease, but have chosen not to know their genetic status, are eligible for one study. Participants who have had the DNA test for the Huntington’s gene and know they are gene carriers are eligible for another. Patients already showing signs of Huntington’s disease are not eligible for either of these studies. For more information, please call (404) 728-6364.
