PERSONS WITH RESTLESS LEGS SYNDROME NEEDED FOR EMORY STUDY

Researchers in the Movement Disorders Program of the Emory Unviersity's Department of Neurology are testing a new medication, ropinirole, for its ability to help alleviate symptoms of restless legs syndrome.

Eligible participants should be at least 21 years of age and meet minimal criteria for diagnosis of restless legs syndrome that is not associated with another medical condition.

The study will last six weeks and will be conducted at The Emory Clinic at Wesley Woods Health Center, 1880 Clifton Rd., N.E., Atlanta.

All medical exams, tests and medications related to the study will be provided at no cost. In addition, participants will receive financial compensation. For information, call 404/728-6859.
