Sandra Thurman, director, White House Office of National AIDS Policy will present this year's David Jower s Lectureship on AIDS and Infectious Diseases on Thursday, Jan. 15, 1998, at 4 p.m. at Emory University.

Sponsored by the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing of Emory University, the lecture will take place in the Rita Anne Rollins R oom, Eighth Floor, Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University, 1518 Clifton Rd., N.E., Atlanta.

The School of Nursing's annual David Jowers Lectureship on AIDS and Infectious Diseases provides information about AIDS, HIV infectio n and other infectious diseases, the training and research into these diseases, and the treatment and care of those affected and their families.

The lecture is free and open to the public. A reception follows. Those interested in attendin g are asked to R.S.V.P. by Jan. 5 to 404/727-3202.
