Building a Strong Workforce

Building relationships promotes a strong sense of community, knowledge, and trust. That’s the impetus behind the Community Advisory Network (CAN), whose members inform the Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH) on ways to better serve the workforce. CAN includes local representatives from nearly 40 companies, government and nonprofit agencies, and the RSPH who meet annually to forecast future academic needs and gauge students' professional readiness. These discussions promote new ideas and strategies within the school to ensure that RSPH graduates are valuable contributors to the public health workforce in Atlanta, in Georgia, and beyond.
